Amrit is comparatively stable and showing higher SpO2 at 88% albeit on full ventilator support.
We have finalized the airlift team and transit ECMO team and have received their quotations.
The discharging hospital AIIMS bbsr, the transit ECMO team and the onboarding hospital are in coordinating and devising a cohesive plan of action.
We had received confirmation from Yashoda Hospital, Secundrabad that they have made both ECMO and transplant facilities available to us but unfortunately, it is unavailable now.
We are meanwhile waiting for an email confirmation and quotation from Apollo Chennai but they are unable to commit due to a shortage of oxygenator necessary for the transfer of patient when on ECMO or to ECMO.
We are exploring a probable lead from Chettinad Hospital, Chennai as well.
Milaap has resumed accepting donations on their platform again.
The ruckus created by a few ill-informed influencers on social media has been cleared. It was irresponsible of them to do so. We intend to send them a legal notice for negligence once the health of Amrit is secured as this has caused us a lot of trouble.
The case was verified by both Milaap and the police of bbsr after speaking to AIIMS bbsr and IPS Officer Arun Bothra has also confirmed this via a Tweet on Twitter.
Amrit and his sister Manisha are both undergoing RT PCR testing and are getting ready for the transport proceedings.
